The story of Sweet Pea Home Bakery is really the story of TWO people — Patty and her loving husband, Steve. Steve made great granola, and his dream was to share his granola with the rest of the world. Patty's dream was to retire and move to a “cottage-industry” friendly state, where together, they could make and sell his granola and her own homemade treats from their home kitchen. Patty knew, even then, what they would call the bakery: Sweet Pea — Steve's term of endearment for her.

Sadly, Steve passed away from cancer in 2014, after six short years of marriage and before any of their dreams could come true. But in 2023, Patty moved to Tennessee to retire and start a brand-new life. And when she did, she realized that she could make their dream of running a home bakery a reality. And so, in 2026, Sweet Pea Home Bakery was born!

Patty has started her business small with one of her most beloved baked goods — her "world famous" brownies. But she hopes to make more kinds of treats soon, including Steve's granola.

Sweet Pea Home Bakery is dedicated in honor to Steve's memory. She believes he watches over everything she does and still takes care of her from Heaven above… and blesses everything she creates for all of you.
